Data we collect
We collect the business details you submit through quote, RFP, booking and contact forms: company name, contact name, work email, phone number, site address, pack quantities, battery serial or VIN references and any notes you provide. We also collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.
Why we use it
Contact and consignment data is used to prepare quotations, schedule collections, plan hazardous-goods transport, issue recycling and EPR certificates, and satisfy regulatory record-keeping obligations. Technical data is used to keep the platform secure and to improve page performance.
Legal bases
We process business contact data to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform that contract, to comply with legal obligations under battery waste and hazardous-goods regulations, and for our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.
Sharing
We share data only with transport partners executing your collection, with our processing facilities handling your consignment, with regulators and auditors where battery waste rules require it, and with service providers who host and secure the platform under contract. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Consignment manifests, weighbridge records, grading results and certificates are retained for the period required by applicable battery waste and hazardous-goods regulations, typically a minimum of five years. Enquiry data not converted into a consignment is retained for up to 24 months.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of the data we hold about you, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where a regulatory retention obligation applies, we will keep the minimum record required and delete the rest.
