Compliance Disclosures
Registrations, certifications, hazardous-goods authorisations and data-accuracy disclosures for EVBatteryRecycling.pro collection, grading and refining operations.
Last updated 15 September 2026
Registrations
EVBatteryRecycling operates as a registered recycler under the Battery Waste Management Rules 2022 (CPCB Reg. No. BWM/R/2022/0148), holds state pollution control board authorisations for each Indian processing site, and is an authorised economic operator for EU battery passport issuance.
Certifications
Management systems are certified to ISO 14001 (environmental), ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety), ISO 9001 (quality) and R2v3 (responsible recycling and refurbishment). Certificates are available on request for audit purposes.
Hazardous goods handling
Retired lithium-ion packs are transported as Class 9 dangerous goods (UN3480 / UN3481) in UN-approved containers, with damaged or defective units handled under the special provisions applicable to that classification and consigned by trained personnel.
Chain of custody
Each consignment carries a manifest linking VIN or pack serial, weight, grading outcome and final disposition. Records are retained for the periods required by applicable battery waste and transport regulations and are available to regulators and to the producer on request.
Data accuracy disclosure
Recovery yields, residual values, state-of-health curves and carbon figures published across the directory, calculators and technical pages are modelled engineering estimates derived from published chemistry data and our own process performance. They support indicative quoting and planning and are not contractual guarantees.
