Is LFP Prismatic a good fit for stationary storage?
Excellent — long calendar life makes LFP the preferred feedstock for stationary BESS repurposing.
Its flat voltage curve makes state-of-charge estimation harder, so a repurposed LFP system needs a BMS that uses coulomb counting and periodic calibration rather than voltage alone.
Applications that suit it
Stationary duty is gentler than driving: lower C-rates, shallower cycles and controlled temperature. The best applications play to those conditions.

Reuse versus refining: the value gap
For a 60 kWh LFP Prismatic pack weighing about 444 kg, the difference between grading modules for reuse and sending the whole pack to refining can be substantial. Reuse also defers the refining cost rather than removing it.
