About the Narela, Delhi facility
Narela, in north-west Delhi, is one of the capital's larger planned industrial areas, with good access to the northern arterial roads and to the depots of Delhi's bus operators, e-rickshaw fleets and delivery companies. The collection yard opened in the DSIIDC industrial area in 2022 to shorten collection times inside the city, where goods-vehicle restrictions make long runs from outside NCR slow and expensive.
Its 12,000 TPA of throughput is dominated by small, numerous units: e-rickshaw and two-wheeler batteries, plus passenger and commercial fleet packs. The yard consolidates and de-energises these loads and dispatches them to grading sites, most often the Gurugram hub. It also works with registered aggregators to bring batteries out of informal dismantling and into a documented channel. Every unit is weighed and logged so producers can trace it later.
