How collection works here
Collection runs as a scheduled milk run across depots, dealers and workshops, so single packs never sit for weeks in unventilated storage. Fleet operators can plan retirements against telematics data and book depot collections in batches.
Loads move in Class 9 compliant transport with pre-filled dangerous goods paperwork to Dubai, UAE, where they are weighed, logged and graded.

What the rules require in United Arab Emirates
The UAE regulates battery waste as hazardous waste under federal law, and emirate authorities such as Dubai Municipality issue permits for handling, storage and treatment. High ambient temperatures speed up degradation, so storage conditions and thermal monitoring get particular attention.
Dangerous goods transport follows federal and emirate rules, with frequent re-export by sea through Jebel Ali.
